Sixth form provides a wealth of opportunities for students to develop their leadership qualities.
Students who have demonstrated leadership and vision throughout their time at the College are rewarded with the role of sixth form prefect. Students apply for this position through a formal application process.
Heads of School are elected by their peer group and staff. The Head Boy and Girl, along with the Deputy Head Boy and Girl are an invaluable part of the leadership system within the school and help provide a vital link between student body and the staff.
Our prefect system enables our year fourteen students to get fully involved in the day-to-day running of the College. It provides pupils with the chance to act as mentors to our junior students; help out with school events and functions; suggest ideas to the senior leadership team and act as pastoral prefects to other form groups.
Our Sixth Form Council provides a forum for our students to voice their ideas and opinions about school life. It allows our students to have their views taken into account in decisions which impact upon them. It is designed to encourage active participation in school life and gives students the chance to participate in leadership and development opportunities.
