Monday 23rd October marks 'Mole Day' and the Chemistry Department celebrated by baking cakes, buns and other treats as well as playing 'who wants to be a mole-ionaire'. The mole is a chemical unit which helps chemists count atoms, ions and molecules and is used by Chemistry students on a regular basis. The A-level Chemistry students certainly got into the spirit of the occasion and enjoyed the Chemistry-themed celebrations!
