Loreto staff enjoyed a very special fundraising coffee morning in aid of Loreto Rumbek, South Sudan. This was an appropriate way to look forward to the imminent visit of Loreto Rumbek Director, Sr Orla Treacy, on Monday 2nd October. In recognition of the importance of Sr Orla's work in Rumbek we asked that pupils also donate £1. All our staff and students were given the opportunity to meet with and hear about Sr Orla's work in Rumbek. Loreto College is part of a worldwide heritage that we are proud to belong to. Thank you to everyone for promoting and supporting the work of our Loreto Sisters. Our students and staff managed to raise a fantastic £1580! This money will contribute to essential resources to help Sister Orla and the rest of her team continue to provide education, life-saving medical care and accommodation for so many young people and their families.
