In June 2018, two groups of students were winners at the NI ‘Big Bang’ Science and Engineering Competition which was held in the University of ulster at JORDANSTOWN.
· Sian Donaghy and Donal Close in the senior section with their project entitled ‘Waterbridges’ won the Queen’s University prize for physics for the second year in a row.
· Susan McKendry (Y14) was one of the top ten in NI who qualified for the UK final to be held in the NEC, Birmingham in March 2019 with her project ‘Magic Marbles’.
