Progress File

Schools are required to maintain a full record of each pupil’s achievement. Information is gathered and stored on “academic achievements, other skills, talents and achievements and educational progress” of pupils. This is known as the Progress File. The information thus gathered will be summarised in the Progress File – a document which the school leaver takes with him/her to be shown to potential employers or admissions officers in further or higher education.

The Progress File is presented to Year 12 students at the end of their compulsory education. It is updated during Years 13 & 14 for those students who return to do A Levels and for new students coming to the College post 16.
