29/09/2016 YEAR 14 RETREAT

Year 14 students took part in their annual Retreat on Thursday 29th  September.

The Retreat was an opportunity for the final year students to reflect, together and as individuals, on their own and one another’s talents and characteristics as a busy first half term drew towards its close.  Amid the pressure of A level study, university applications and accumulating deadlines, the day gave the Year 14 students a chance to draw breath and to consider how they value and support one another as a year group, as they move towards the conclusion of their time at Loreto College.  The students also considered the theme of time – how time passes, what time together means, and how they use their time.  This proved to be a very productive reflection amid the hectic schedule of A Level studies and university applications.
