08/01/2014 CAMBRIDGE SUCCESS STORY FOR LORETO COLLEGE STUDENT

A final year student at Loreto College has been offered a place at the University of Cambridge, following a rigorous examination and interview procedure.

Patrick McCloskey has been offered a place at King’s College Cambridge to read Law.  Modest about his success, Patrick was delighted to be offered such a great academic opportunity, and to learn that he had impressed the selection panels he faced at interview in December.  Patrick is currently a Senior Prefect at Loreto College, and is studying English Literature, History and Politics for A level, having also taken Economics as an AS level in Year 13. He holds an outstanding academic record, and has also contributed generously to the extra-curricular life of the College throughout his time at Loreto College, and previously at Termoncanice Primary School.

Patrick was congratulated on this outstanding achievement by Mr Michael James, College Principal, on behalf of all the staff and students of Loreto College.
